Good news I have a name. My Daddy named me Chance since he took another chance on love with me. I am becoming a very good boy. I am not much of an eater thought I just nibble at my food.

Puppy still has no name but he is getting to be a good boy. Did anyone else use wee wee pads and how did you transition to going outside? How long did the transition take?

How are all our dachshund friends today? My Mommy got mad at me last night and she laid down the law. I am now at the bottom of the pack.

Bela (5 y 2 mo), Fleck (5 y 3 mo) and Vestal (1 y 4 mo) are our babies.... we rarely call them by their given names... unless they are in T rouble...(with a capital T). It seems nicknames are the rule! We had another Doxie for 17+ years, Sandie! She was a doll as well! I am so happy there is a site like this for us all to unite!

We just love our Doxies! Schatzie (1 year) and Prinz (4 months). Schatzie was our first Doxie (by default via the Puppy Palooza event at the OC Animal Shelter with approx. 50 puppies that were confiscated from a horrible pet store called Village Pets near South Coast Plaza and being adopted via a raffle) so...we just had to get another because they are so much fun and the two of them really love having each other. Our pup pups make us laugh and we love taking them wherever we go (when possible).
