I am so happy to have found this group!! My two girls are such amazing dogs!!
Their pastimes including taking care of the horses and spooning in bed with us. Yes, both of them! I use them in my photography whenever possible to expand the love of the breed.

Feel in love with the breed. Dont know how but did. Adopted a 10mth. old in Dec.2009. Is the the sweetest boy. He is a american pit/american bulldog mix.
And i also have a 5mth.old american and english bulldog mix. we got her in Oct.2009. They are best friends. Also a 5yr. old boston. All get along great.

In case you wonder why I joined this group (with a lab on my sofa in my profile pic) it's because I had a pit for almost 13 years before I lost her to complicated medical issues. I adore the breed and respect those who responsibly care for them. I look forward to seeing the pics of all your beautiful dogs...

right, I'm so tired of people treating pitts like some scarry beasts! must admit, earlier I was close to thinking so too, but after I've read a lot about them (visited great blogs and downloaded useful books by rapidshare search engine) I changed my mind completely. even more, I fell in love with these wonderful dogs. they are the best friends ever!

Pretty Peggy O is my angel! She found me so her history is a mystery, but everyone says she is a red nose. She is my counterpart and the mushiest mooshmoo ever! She loves everyone and my 5 year old sister is her bestest buddy ever! I don't know what I would do with out this girl!!

My Vito is a mix of beagle/corgi/staffie, a little low-rider from SLA and the sweetest dog ever.

i love these dogs weve had two in our famliy my has one now called china she is a silly moo shes very clubsy but beutifull .wre not to sure if shes full pit or american staff if u look at my pictures could u be able to tell .xwell thanx if u can x

People are so mis-educated about pits. They have just been glamorized in the media as killers and fighters, but no one seems to say that they were raised and trained to be that way. Any dog, any breed can be raised/trained to be violent.
Pits, when raised or housed with good people, are nothing but the sweetest babes. No more bad raps for pits! They're awesome dogs!!
